What are we listening to for Episode 43?

We Picky Bastards have moved on, though – we’re already preparing for Episode 43. Fran is taking a break while he becomes a dad and we welcome special guest Sam Atkins who you’ll know from our album of the year and Mercury prize episodes.

As always, we’ll be discussing four new releases and one classic album before one of the Bastards introduces an act that they love in our Why I Love segment.

This month’s recent releases are The American Negro by Adrian Younge, Changephobia by Rostam, Seeking New Gods by Gruff Rhys, and Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land by MARINA.

The classic is The Wild Heart by Stevie Nicks and Sam will be telling us why he loves the one and only Janelle Monae.
